Delivery Policy

Ashley Furniture offers delivery of all items around TAS. If, however, you would like to pick up the goods then you may arrange to do so at Ashley HomeStore MOONAH. If you would like to pick up the goods, we recommend that you contact our outlet on 62722774 at least 24 hours prior to collection.

Our deliveries are scheduled between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm from Monday to Friday unless prior arrangements have been made. Delivery personnel will phone customer on the confirmed delivery day at least 30 minutes before  delivery and check someone will be present at the location to accept and sign for goods. There will be other deliveries on the same day therefore it is a predelivery check to save time.If there is no answer the delivery will need to be rescheduled & there will be a second delivery charge as your products have been picked & packed. To avoid a second charge you will need to cancel with a minimum 24 hour notice.

STANDARD DELIVERY OF GOODS IS ONLY TO THE DELIVERY ADDRESS STATED ON THE INVOICE. THE DELIVERY PERSONNEL WILL PLACE THE ITEM IN THE ROOM OF YOUR CHOICE. STANDARD DELIVERY DOES INCLUDE ASSEMBLY, AND REMOVAL OF THE PACKAGING. DELIVERY MUST BE ORGANISED & PAID FOR IN ADVANCE AT THE STORE, OR VIA DIRECT DEPOSIT, OR EFTPOS  VIA TELEPHONE CALL TO THE STORE A MINIMUM 24 HOURS PREVIOUS TO ALLOW FOR THE TIME REQUIRED FOR FUNDS TRANSFERS INTO OUR BANK.IF FUNDS ARE VIA DIRECT DEPOSIT WITHIN 48 HOURS A CONFIRMATION DEPOSIT SLIP NEEDS TO BE EMAILED TO THE STORE AS PROOF OF PAYMENT.

The store can be contacted to enquire about delivery outside the specified zone area of TAS with some online items available to interstate metropolitan areas.

Pre-ordered and special-order items can take up to 12  weeks to arrive as they are made to order. Items available in stock will be available for immediate delivery. Confirmation of a specified date of delivery will be sent to the customer via email or a phone call.

We recommend you read our Return Policy prior to placing an order, which requires you to let us know within 24 hours of a delivery of any defective goods received.

Our delivery policy offers a door-to-door service, so please ensure that there will be someone available at the nominated delivery address to sign for your items and receive the delivery. Delivery personnel will NOT leave items unattended.

It is the customers responsibility to ensure goods purchased fit into their home.We will assist with measurements and in extreme circumstances visit your home to assist with delivery advice re fitting through doors etc.If goods are unable to be delivered due to size etc  goods can be taken back to Ashley Store and customer is able to reselect.If reselection is not possible due to time constraints or any other reason a credit note will be issued for full amount paid and a purchase can be made at a later date.

Delivery Date

Once your order has been made and received by us, you will receive an email or phone call within 24 hours informing you of goods being available for delivery. we would prefer to deliver your goods within 7 days unless prior arrangement is made as our warehouse is unable to hold sold stock for extended periods due to space restrictions.

When customer has selected a product and paid a deposit,the order will become binding by the client.
